MY JOURNEY.
I got my first camera when I was just 16 years old (almost half my life ago now!) and immediately, I fell in love with the opportunity to capture and preserve moments that would long outlast my memory.
After finishing university at age 21, I started to travel more and more, and it wasn’t long after that I took my first trip to Iceland, a place that changed everything.
The pure natural beauty of this country sparked something inside of me. From this point on, I began to take my photography a lot more seriously, and my passion for landscape photography consumed me.
However, it remained a hobby - not a profession - for a few more years. My knowledge of understanding and operating effectively on social media came from a seven year stint working for LADbible Group - one of the world’s largest social media publishers.
I owe a lot to my time there, and it was whilst I worked there that I began to amass a following on my own social media accounts.
Fast-forward to 2025, and I’d been able to grow my account to a large enough following where I believed I could pursue content creation full time. So, I took the leap, quit my job and haven’t looked back since. I’m truly grateful to be able to call the work I do, my work.
YOU MAY
HAVE SEEN...
I’ve had great success with some of my content and work in recent years, here are just a few highlights of some of my favourite pieces.
My initial rise in following came from this short-form reel showcasing my experience of Northern Norway’s midnight sun phenomena. It currently sits on 170M+ views, one of the most-viewed Instagram reels of all time.
This success created the opportunity for me travel to Svalbard in collaboration with Visit Norway to make ‘the sequel’ - The Land Where The Sun Doesn’t Rise. With just shy of 40M views, this was a very successful collaboration.
Over the years I’ve developed a very ‘moody’ style for my photos and videos. I always lean into the ‘scary’ side of nature - the rainy days, the brutal wind and the terrifying straight drops. My Faroe Islands content has exceeded well over 50M total views in photo and video form. Not bad from just a single week-long trip!
Finally, one of the collaborations I’m most proud of, is working with DJI - the tech powerhouse for modern drones. I purchased my first DJI drone around ten years ago, and never did I think I would be working in collaboration with them to promote their products. Well, for their latest flagship drone, the Mavic 4 Pro, I was one of the first creators they ran a collaborative post with.
THANK YOU.
I appreciate that my profession is - quite frankly - a ridiculous thing to call a job! But, I absolutely love it, and doing this would not have been possible without the love of the audience I have been able to build.
So, to every person who has ever ordered a print, purchased one of my maps, or liked and shared my content, thank you. Your support has enabled me to live a life I never thought would be possible.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
