Luminar Neo

Skylum, creators of editing software Luminar Neo, asked me to push their editing software to the limits and showcase what it’s really capable of. Conveniently, I was heading to Svalbard imminently with a bold idea: Show the contrast between midnight sun & polar night via 50:50 images. This was the perfect challenge for Luminar Neo.

I created a tutorial video with in-depth behind-the-scenes explaining my creative process and highlighting some of the issues I’d had to overcome. Back at home it was the easy part - editing. Luminar Neo made this process a breeze, and thanks to their AI tools, I was able to easily create a perfect 50:50 split of polar night and midnight sun.
